Invitation to the annual exchange of the working group “Social Ministry” of the Redemptorists in Europe

When: 21st – 23rd March 2017 / Arrival March 20th

Where: Brunnentreff, Bochum, Germany

The working group “Social Ministry” of the Redemptorists of Europe is committed to supporting the exchange of experience and cooperation between different projects at European level.

To this end, an annual meeting takes place at different places, which are characterized by social-ministry activities.

This year’s meeting is held at the “Brunnentreff” in Bochum. Further information is available at www.brunnenprojekt-hustadt.de

Arrival is Monday, March 20, preferably by 6 pm. We meet at Brunnentreff, Robert-Koch-Strasse 37, 44801 Bochum / Germany.

On Tuesday we shall visit a mosque and exchange with the Muslims’ dialogue officer. We will also visit a refugee shelter.

Each participant is requested to present his / her own field of activity in the field of social ministry.

The meetings continues until Wednesday afternoon. However, all are invited to stay until Thursday afternoon to gain additional impressions from Bochum. Please give me information about your arrival and departure. We can pick you up at the central station in Bochum. Those who are familiar with the area can also take the underground line 35 to the final stop “Hustadt”, where you will be picked up by us.

In addition to the members of the working group, there are a limited number of guests, interested in the social ministry, who can join the meeting. We shall then try to arrange overnight accommodation. The languages of communication are German, English and Spanish.

I am looking forward to our meeting and the exchange of our experiences in social ministry.
