World Youth Day 2016
Dear Confreres!
World Youth Day and the days proceeding it in Krakow are approaching quickly and there is not that much time left. We are very much looking forward to meeting you and the youth from your parishes. In this letter, you will find detailed information about what we have prepared for you and also a kind request for some information from you that will help all of us. Please share this information with the young people in your parishes.
At this moment, we have 43 groups registered from 22 countries. We are expecting about 1400 young pilgrims. We are amazed by your involvement and cooperation with our volunteers who have contacted you. There is going to be a most interesting presentation and for this reason we would like you to send us a picture of your group as soon as possible. There are some groups that have registered together with their dioceses. In this case, it is possible for those groups to be accommodated together with all Redemptorist Youth in our parish. Please simply indicate in your Vatican Registration the following address as your housing : Parafia Matki Bożej Nieustającej Pomocy, ul. Zamoyskiego 56, 30-523 Kraków. All musical groups, choirs, gospel choirs that want to participate in singing during the Eucharist on 27.07.2016 and during the Youth Festival in Krakow, please send us your application by 15.06.2016 to: maciej.cssr@gmail.com – the person in charge is Fr. Maciej Ziębiec CSsR.
We have also prepared T-shirts for each pilgrim as a Souvenir of World Youth Day. Please send us the list of pilgrims and the size of their T-shirts to: redemptoryscisdm@gmail.com.
As you already know during the time of World Youth Day in Krakow, there we will be Bishops preaching in the afternoon (from Wednesday 27 to Friday 29.07). In our church. There will be preaching in Spanish, and very close to us in English, German and Polish. We are close to complete the work on applications: Redemptor 2016 for Redemtorists’ Youth. You can find there the schedule of all the events prepared by us for “Mission Week” in Wrocław and “Alfonsjański Day” in Krakow; maps of places in which our meetings will take place; liturgical texts and suggestions regarding our events in Krakow. The application will be in the following languages: English, Spanish, Italian, Russian, German, French and Polish. It will be available on iOS and Android systems.

During the World Youth Days translations will be provided through the radio, for that reason you should have an FM Radio (in smartphone or separate). Please remember to bring a phone charger and powerbank and where necessary an international adapter
