Ministry for Migrants – Colloquium

Ministry for Migrants as chance and challenge

Working with people affected by migration ranks high among the priorities of the Conference (CRE).

There are only few pastoral activities in which we do not meet people with a migration background. Some confreres and partners in our ministry make these problems their special concern, and they do this in many different ways.

We feel that a colloquium is a good way to provide a forum where those actively engaged in Ministry for Migrants can share their experiences, receive new impulses, and network with those who are active in other countries and provinces of Europe.

The colloquium begins on Monday 5 May 2014 at 4:00 P.M in Bochum (Germany) and ends on Friday 9 May at 9:00 A.M. The venue is the “Kolpinghotel” (Maximilian-Kolbe-Strasse 14–18, D-44793 Bochum).

We plan to have speeches on the following topics:

• Ministry for Migrants

• Social ministry

• Medical care for those sick and without papers

• Inter-religious dialogue

Please to pre-register by 15 December to: info@stclemens.org (Secretary of St. Clement province).
