Invitation for those preparing for Final Vows in the CRE and also for those in early years of ministry

tuchow-panorama-tatry

The month of preparation for Perpetual Vows for our clerical and Brother confreres has taken place on the level of the CRE from 2013 in Tuchów, Poland. A special feature of this preparation has been the participation of confreres who are in the Transition to Ministry programme or who are ten years professed or ordained.
The Formation Secretariat of the Conference of Europe is impressed by the holistic approach in terms of topics covered: our history, Constitutions, spirituality, moral theology, areas of psychology and human development, cooperation with the laity, youth ministry and other related areas. Visits to places of interest connected with our Redemptorist life and with culture (e.g. UNESCO sites) are also part of the experience.
This preparation will take place from 14th July until 5th August in Tuchów under the direction of Fr. Witold Hetnar, Prefect of Students, and Fr. Sylwester Cabala, President of the Formation Secretariat of the Warsaw Province. The course will be conducted in English, Italian and Polish with translation being available into these languages.
At present it is anticipated that there will be around 13 confreres preparing for Final Vows. Moreover 13 confreres, who are in ministry for less than ten years, will participate from 20th July to 1st August 2015. We now offer and recommend this opportunity to any confrere from your Unit who may be in Transition to Ministry, or is in ministry for less than ten years, as a special experience of the internationality of the Congregation.
The costs are modest – last year an average of 420 Euros for the whole period of the course (three weeks). For this year, we do not anticipate a great change. We shall inform you of the cost when we have a final number of participants. If you have any confreres who you think could benefit from this ongoing formation exercise, please contact Fr. Witold Hetnar (witold@tiscali.it) by 30h April, 2015.
Jacek Zdrzałek, C.Ss.R.
